Before you play

Alterday is a small world. You play it a few minutes at a time. It writes down what you do there. Here is exactly what that means.

What is written down.

Each time you play, the world keeps a record of:
- which room you went to, and when you moved
- what you did there, and how long you held it
- what was offered and you left alone
- who was in the room with you — the world's own drawn people, never anyone real
- the time on the world's clock, and how long you stayed
- whether you used a finger or a mouse, and the size of your screen
That is all of it. Every sitting on this account is recorded, on any phone or computer you sign in from.

What is not. Nothing you type — there is nowhere to type.
No camera. No microphone. No location. No contacts.
Nothing from any other app, page or file. Not which phone or browser you use.
And no verdict. The record says what happened, not what it meant.

The people in the world. Vera, Sam, Danny and Ruth are drawn figures. They follow rules.
They remember what you did with them in the world — a call you answered, a bin you brought in — and they act on it next time you play. That is all they know. They know nothing about you outside the world.

Not a test. Nothing here scores, grades, diagnoses or predicts you. Alterday is not treatment and not advice.
Still: a few weeks of evenings here can suggest something about how you are. You never told us that; it comes from what you did. That is why we ask for a clear yes below, and why you can take it back any time.

Where it goes. Each sitting is sent to servers we run in the European Union — Microsoft Azure's West Europe region, in the Netherlands. It is kept under your account for as long as the account exists.
It is never sold. It is never shown as a list to anyone — not to you in the world, not to your AI, not to us.

Who can read it. Nobody, unless you choose to.
You get one short link. Paste it into the AI chat you already use. That AI can then ask about your sittings. It gets counts and plain statements — *three evenings in the workshop; more left alone this week than last* — never the record itself, and never your name.
That AI is run by its maker, under its own rules, maybe outside the EU. What you say to it stays between you and them; we cannot see it.
When your AI asks, we see the question, never the answer. We keep those questions for 90 days to learn how the reading is used, then delete what names the subject.

Your account. We hold your email and, if you gave it, your first name — to sign you in, and so a friend who invited you knows who you are. Nothing else: no marketing, no newsletters, never passed on. If a friend invited you, we hold which account invited whom.

Changing your mind.

In *Settings*, any time:
- turn off the link — nothing more is written down
- download everything we hold about you, as a file
- delete your account — the record, the link, your email and your name are gone within the hour
Deleting is also how you take this agreement back. It is as easy as giving it, and it does not undo what was lawfully done before.
What an AI you connected has already read stays with that AI; we cannot delete it there.
You can also ask us to correct, restrict or hand over your data, and you can complain to the Polish data protection office (uodo.gov.pl). The privacy page says how; write to hello@alterday.app and we answer within a month.

On this device. A few small entries in this browser keep you signed in, count your sittings, remember what you have touched, and hold your link. They leave the phone only as part of a sitting. No advertising or analytics cookies.

This is a beta. Alterday is early. Things will change, and some will break. If what is written down, where it goes or who can read it changes, we ask you again first, on a page like this one. Wording changes are dated on the privacy page.

Research. Not yet. If we ever want to use records for research, or to build something from many people's records, we will ask you first, separately. You can say no and keep playing.

Age. You must be 16 or older to use Alterday.

Tapping I agree means: I consent to Gamex Interactive sp. z o.o. keeping the record of what I do in Alterday's worlds on this account — including what it may suggest about my state of mind — so that an AI I connect can read counts and statements from it, and so that Gamex can see what that AI asks.

*Not now:* your account stays so you can sign in, but nothing is recorded, nothing is sent, and there is no link. You can play anyway; it is the same world. This page waits for you in Settings.
